Standard Plan

Service Fee: 500 JPY per order

This plan offers a full inspection of your items at our warehouse, and guarantees a refund in the event they are damaged.

At Buyee, we normally keep packaging in the exact state as we receive it from the seller/store before sending items overseas.

On rare occasions, items may arrive in a damaged state due to mishandling or accidents during transit. If you have applied for Insured Delivery, Buyee will refund you item-related expenses in the event of damage during transit.

Insured Delivery

*1 If tax was applied, you will not be refunded the tax amount.

If only one item out of a multiple-item order arrives damaged, you will only be refunded for the single damaged item.

Terms and Conditions

  • Changes cannot be made after application
    We do not accept requests to cancel or change plans after applying for Insured Delivery
  • When consolidating insured items with non-insured items
    If an item that has been applied for Insured Delivery is shipped in the same package as item that has not been insured, then the refund will only be valid for damage done to the insured item. Additionally, the international shipping fee for the whole package will not be refunded.
  • We do not take requests to pack items in a specific way.
    Buyee will decide how to pack your items with minimum risk of damage. Please understand that we do not accept requests such as excess or minimal packaging.
    * Please note that exceptionally large items or items of an irregular shape will incur fees for our Special Packaging Service.
  • →About the Special Packaging Service
  • If the plan fee is paid with Buyee points
    It will be returned in Buyee points while being subject to a refund.
  • There is a possibility that sea mail cannot be selected as the shipping method
    For fragile items, such as audio devices, ceramics, alcohol bottles, etc., even if they have been applied with insured plan, sea mail might not be able to be selected as the shipping method.

Inspection Plan

Service Fee: 300 JPY per order

Once an item arrives at our warehouse, we will compare them to their online descriptions and see if they match. Incorrect and damaged items will be identified at an early stage.

If we receive an item that is the wrong size or color, or is in a damaged state, Buyee will begin refund procedures.

Terms and Conditions

  • If a damaged item arrives at our warehouse in Japan, we will refund you for the first payment
  • Item inspection does not apply to items that include digital codes
    Please refrain from applying for this plan when purchasing items such as passwords or usernames, as we have no means of checking their validity.
  • If the plan fee is paid with Buyee points
    It will be returned in Buyee points while being subject to a refund.

Lite Plan

Lite Plan means there is no Insured Delivery or Item Inspection service included.

Please understand that with Lite Plan, you are not eligible for the following services:

  • Receiving refunds in the event that your item(s) is delivered damaged, different from the auction/shopping page or different in quantity
  • Receiving refunds or requesting a claim/investigation in the event that your item(s) is lost during shipment
  • Contact the seller

You are highly recommended to apply for Standard Plan if you would like to be eligible to the above mentioned services.

  • If the consumption tax is already included, it will be charged when you win the bid/place the order.
