【堀内家十二世 兼中斎】
茶人。表千家流堀内家十二世。大正8年(1919)京都生 。名は吉彦、別号に長生庵。父は堀内家十世不仙斎。京大理学部卒。兄十一世幽峰斎の急逝のため、表千家即中斎のもとで修業ののち十二世を襲名。禅的境地と科学者としての思考が相まって独特の温厚な茶風で知られる。著書に『茶の湯聚話』『茶花』等がある。平成10年、分明斎が十三世を襲名するのに伴い宗心と称する。

1947年 6月 京都生 1966年 伏見工業高校 工芸科卒
師：竹器師 高野宗陵。
茶道・華道宗家また、相国寺・大徳寺・南禅寺の竹器師として活躍。
