飴釉白流し鎬大鉢
前所有者様が、生田氏の個展で買われたものとのことです。
今も出品を迷うほどの大作ですが、コレクション整理の為、出品いたします。
生田 和孝 （いくた かずたか） 昭和2年（1927年）～昭和57年（1982年）
陶芸家。鳥取県東伯郡中北条村（現・北栄町）生まれ。昭和22年（1947年）に鳥取県出身の堀尾幹雄から陶芸家・河井寬次郎を紹介され、
京都・藤平窯で河井武一に学んだ後、昭和26年（1951年）に寬次郎に弟子入りしました。昭和30年（1955年）に帰郷して吉田璋也に出会い、
その後丹波へ移り市野利雄の窯で丹波焼の技法を学び、昭和35年（1960年）に独立しました。釉薬は飴釉(あめゆう)、鉄釉に加え、父から籾殻灰を提供してもらい、
丹波では使われてこなかった糠釉(ぬかゆう)を用いました。鎬手(しのぎて)、面取を得意とし大胆で力強い作品を生み出しました。昭和50年（1975年）、
第三回日本陶芸展に「糠釉鎬手大鉢」を出品し文部大臣賞を受賞。55歳で逝去しました。生田門下として河本賢治、山下碩夫(みつお)、
山下清志という鳥取を代表する陶芸家たちを育てた功績は大きく、今なお郷里の人々に愛されている陶芸家です。
